HASIL LAUT YONG THEAM is a well-known marine dealer company. This company was formed since 1980’s by Tei Yeog Theam, a man who seems Lumut will be a famous tourism hot spot. He started his marine business at the aged 44 with only a four wheel trishaw in front of Jetty Lumut. With his own hand and the help of his children, Tei Song Khim (13), Tei Song Wah (12) and Tei Song Khieang (10), they built up the business and increased the sales year by year.

In the year 1984, with the help from government, HASIL LAUT YONG THEAM moved into a beautiful small shop lot. They continue their family marine business.
First Shop lot in front of Jetty Lumut
In the year 1992, Mr Tei Yeoh Theam passed his business to second generation - his sons, Tei Song Wah and Tei Song Khieang. With their knowledge of marine product and experiences, they continue to build up the business and became the owner of the company.
Slowly, Lumut became a tourism hot spot. In the year 2002, the governor of Manjung District, Majlis Pembandaran Manjung (MPM), took back all the shop lot in front of Jetty Lumut to rebuild everything to be a nicer spot. HASIL LAUT YONG THEAM then to be move to another place. They rented a small place beside the temple – “GUAN YING Temple” in Lumut. They build a shop lot and continue up their business.
HASIL LAUT YONG THEAM then expend their business with opened two brunches in front of Jetty Lumut after the rebuilt of new shop lot with the name XIN KEE (shop lot no.1) and ENG THEAM (shop lot no.6) in the year 2005.

In the same year, HASIL LAUT YONG THEAM registered their company symbol – XIN KEE. All its product was now labeled with the logo XIN KEE as a symbolic of own company production by HASIL LAUT YONG THEAM.

In the year July 2011, once again they moved. Now, they moved into their own building, a bigger, nicer beautiful double story shop lot. This new shop was renovated with modern style and with air-conditioner, to provide customer a more comfortable and relaxation environment during shopping.
